30 in 30 Campaign!

In an effort boost membership, the Montavilla Food Co-op is launching a new campaign to sign-up 30 new member-owners in 30 days! The co-op organizers will be reaching out to supporting businesses and organizations, volunteers, and current member-owners to encourage friends, family and residents of Portland to become member-owners in a 30 day campaign to sustain the drive to open a new, cooperatively run grocery in the east Portland neighborhood of Montavilla. Anyone can help in this effort by spreading the word face-to-face, liking and sharing our updates in social media and promoting our events and activities in all sources of Portland media. The 5th Annual Montavilla Pancake Brunch

  We’re proud to be hosting our 5th Annual Pancake Brunch Fundraiser.  That’s right, the community, food, music, and fun of our biggest event of the year is back and better than ever!  We will be offering a delicious and healthy brunch made by some of Portland’s best up-and-coming young chefs using locally and organically sourced ingredients.  If that weren’t enough we will also have live entertainment from local artists and a fantastic raffle with prizes from community artisans and stores.  Come out and meet other member/owners and MFC Board and Committee members and learn more about the fantastic opportunity presented by becoming a founding member owner.  So tell your friends, neighbors, co-workers, anyone and everyone that you are going to attend our event and in doing so support one of the best, local, community-focused, and healthy movements sweeping through East Portland!
