Welcome Caitlin Dickinson to the Board!

Ballots have been counted and our food co-op would like to officially welcome Caitlin to our Board of Directors! Thank you to all who voted in the election. Your participation in our co-op democracy is so important. In fact, it is what makes co-op ownership unique! Welcome Caitlin, and we look forward to working with you!

Caitlin Dickinson grew up in Southwest Portland and has lived in the Montavilla Neighborhood since 2013. She is thrilled about the MFC, and sees it as a vehicle for building community connections, supporting local farmers, and encouraging local, healthy eating in SE Portland. Caitlin has a strong academic background in public health, biology, chemistry, and business. She currently works as a program manager for the Oregon Rural Practice-based Research Network at OHSU. In her role, Caitlin is responsible for writing and managing grants; designing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating public health research projects; connecting with community stakeholders; preparing and presenting reports; and leading team meetings and supervising a team of field facilitators. She looks forward to sharing her public health perspective and using her management skills to support MFC board activities. In her personal time, Caitlin enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling with her family.
